Well I'm glad they got hacked after that 'manifesto', they're so controlling. Lexicon says "All opinions besides the ones we believe in are STUPID!" *rolls eyes* They need to get over themselves. Moving on.

I am SO THRILLED that I was not the only one who thought Bella being great at everything was frustrating. It wasn't the sacrifices I was missing, it was the flaws. While I was reading, I felt like maybe I was being strangely jealous of this fictional character, but it really was just that everything was so damned easy for her. She was suddenly so graceful, and she has this amazing control over her emotions, and she's a strong mother, and her powers are wow-ing everyone - it was like everything that made her Bella was taken away from her when she became a vampire - and not that I loved Bella as a human, but to change your main character completely... I was at the point where If I see one more "We're just so amazed, Bella" or "She's simply incredible" I was gonna be done with the book.

I think Stephenie felt a lot of pressure to make everyone happy with this last book 'cause let's face it, Twihards are scary, so she ended up kind of giving up on any realistic outcomes that she seemed to have in mind before. Meh, I dono! Somethin like that... I can relate though, endings are always the hardest for me when I (try to) write.

It's just, most were expecting and excited for Bella to be this crazy newborn and having to get through the obstacles because of it, and then suddenly... it doesn't happen.

Stephenie did say that this ending was already in her mind. I think that the baby and stuff were in forever dawn, but then she wrote new moon and eclipse, and of course, keeping the same end, it doesn't fit

there are many many MANY fans who love Twilight, New moon, and Eclipse, but absolutely hate Breaking dawn, it's... like whoa! There are even petitions, and stuff, they are all over the internet, I still have to find some positive comments, lol

I see your point with Bella having no sacrifices and stuff, but I guess when I read, I like to escape reality, and I liked it...lol.

It's funny that I understand all of the negative points of the book, but I cannot bring myself to dislike the book. I do see that the book has some 'quirks' where I'm like, "Hmm..." But it never made me dislike the book.

I only expressed my annoyance at certain parts, but the only thing I truly disliked, but got used to was 'Renesmee' Lol.

That's why I read too, to escape reality, but that was not a place I'd want to escape to, it was just.. EW had a good word for it - bizarre. It was nothing like the world that the first 3 books were in =/ I'm glad there are ppl who did like it though, I'd feel bad for Stephenie if everyone hated it

That'd be awful if no one liked it. It was evident she wanted everyone to be happy with it, and didn't want any sacrifices to be made...but heck, I dunno. I'm probably done with this topic because I'm being really redundant...lol.

To tell you the truth. I liked Jake's narration, but I agree, I'm much more used to Bella and stuff. I like her perspective.

I thank Stephenie Meyer whole heartedly for Jake's perspective during the pregnancy thing...because in the beginning I was sooooo annoyed at Bella and Rose. At the time, I was grateful, because if I had to read 300 pages of Bella thinking, "I love my baby, no one will harm it. Ow! You broke my rib! Oh well, no one will harm my baby! No one! Not even if it kills me!"

I swear I would've gone insane. No lie. Her perspective probably would've been the most annoying thing during that. [confused]

Just like I knew with all of the eggs and the throwing up of the chicken and stuff, I was like, "SHE'S PREGNANT!" Lol.

Ok, now, let me think...

I read the first Bella part, 7 chapters, I think. My head was about to explode, that was so NOT like the other books, I was wondering if I was reading something else, but then I read what wikipedia said about that and I knew it was the real thing, though it was so unreal

And I have to say. whoa! I remember the first thread I read on IMDB: Things that'll never happen in Breaking Dawn or something like that, and the first reply was "Edward, I'm pregnant". Can you say WRONG?!

I had to stop reading because it was really late. The next day I thought about what I'd read, [none]. And, in my opinion, two things could happen after that: a) the baby was normal b) the baby was going to eat Bella from the inside *shudder*

And then I was reaaally happy that the next part was from Jake's POV, I really like him now, and I really wanted to hit Bella and rip Rose's head off, but peace, my friends.

I still was like "Should I read? Should I wait?" But damn, I wanted to discuss it!

And...and...I have to think. Sorry about the long post, lol, hope it all made sense.

Edit: let me add one more thing and then you can kill me for writing such a long comment. Renesmee? WTH? I mean, the intention was good, and I love Carlie, but I still don't like it...well, maybe it's because I don't know how to pronounce it. GO NESSIE. And I didn't like the other option "Edward Jacob"?!

hah I agree. I thought Renesmee was going to kill her. And about the name at first I was like What the crap? Whyyyyyy? I liked Carlie it was cute and kinda normal...and you know like everyone else that Bella needs ONE normal thing going on... And at first I kinda hated the name Nessie, I mean it bugged the heck out of me! But like Edward and EVERYONE else the name Nessie grew on me and I found myself saying it cus I mean who can actually say Renesmee and pronounce it CLEARLY.
ooohhhh and..and.. I wanted Rose to DIE. I HATED her. I never really liked her at all. I mean I understood her her for a short period of time when I first read her stories on when she was human and all that but during the whole pregnancy I HATED her. At every point I found myself yelling at my book saying "God Edward Jake KILL HER!" lol
The dog bowl thing still makes me laugh.

I knowww I love the name Carlie! Hah At first I was with Bella on the whole Nessie thing, like WHYYYY call her that!? and then I was mad about it all and I decided to stick with Nessie because every time I spent like mins trying to figure out how to say it lol.
Its cute though how she had names for just the people she loved like that, but Edward Jacob.....NOOOOO... its like hey lets throw total enemys and name it my child basically and see how that goes since I mean now she's got a wolf imprinted on her and hey her whole family except like her Grandparents on her mom's side are all a bunch a Vampires! lol

About the pillow thing. I did laugh pretty hard, especially when Edward told her what he did. My friend and I were really laughing because we were picturing the scene in the movie to go like this...

Bella: Why am I covered in feathers?

Edward: I um, I bit a pillow...*Serious face*

Rob as Edward, biting a pillow and ripping it to pieces whilst making scary growling puppy noises....

I think Stephenie totally said that no actress could ever play Renesmee in her mind, and she'd have to be like computer generated or something...lol. They'd totally have to get an actress though. I have no idea what little girl could do it, but yes, she'd have to be really good.

Well, I don't really know. I mean, Jake was sad and stuff, and he gave up very easily, and since I was always Team Edward, I guess it went to show how much Edward loved her. Jake was beginning to realize that the crush on her was dissolving I guess?

I kinda agree with you. I mean Jake did get something out of it..Nessie!:]
But I think he got out because of the way he did love Bella, because I personally wouldn't be able to watch someone I loved like that die. And thats just what Jacob thought was that Bella was dead and nothing could bring her back.

I just don't remember many of the specifics. I didn't like the book very much. The last 10 or so chapters were good, that's the only part I liked. I don't wanna see the 4th book turned into a movie, it'd just be weird.
